ബി സി സി ഐ യെ പോലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ കായിക മന്ത്രാലയത്തിനു ഒരു അധികാരവും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ബോര്ടിനു വേണ്ടി കളിക്കുന്ന ക്രികെറ്റ് താരങ്ങള്ക്കു കായിക പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ നല്കരുത്. കാരണം വര ഇന്ത്യ എന്നാ രാജ്യത്തിന്‌ വേണ്ടി അല്ല മത്സരിക്കുന്നത് മറിചു ബി സി സി ഐ എന്നാ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന് വേണ്ടി മാത്രമാണ് . ഇന്ത്യൻ കായിക മന്ത്രാലയത്തിനു ബി സി സി ഐ യിൽ ഒരു നിയന്ത്രണവും ഇല്ല എന്ന് ബി സി സി ഐ തന്നെ പറയുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ വിരട്ട് കൊഹ്ലിക്ക് ഇത്തവണ നല്കിയ അര്ജുന പുരസ്‌കാരം ഉള്പ്പെടെ ഇതുവരെ ക്രിക്കെറ്റ് താരങ്ങള്ക്കു നല്കിയ എല്ലാ കായിക പുരസ്കാരങ്ങളും ഇന്ത്യൻ സര്ക്കാര് തിരിച്ചെടുക്കണം. ഇതിനെ കുറിച്ച് രവി ശാസ്ത്രി എന്ത് പറയും.......

I accept that Cricket in India has become the 'Million Money Industry' and the officials of BCCI is earning huge amounts even without any hassles from the Central Govt.
However,Ravi Shasthri is just a cricket player.Yes,he was there in 11 squad of 1983 world cup team when India lifted WC for the very first time in cricket history.But,still,who is he more than that.
On the other hand,Tom Joseph is the pride of Indian volley ball.In fact,he is a dedicated player for the team and above all he was short listed for 8 times but never given a chance to hold Arjuna award.!!! Shame on the authorities.And now a ray of hope could be seen as Tom might get Arjuna this time because it is his right to get the award.
